Texas A&M Club of Maryland

CLUB STATUS
We are still in the process of filing for non-profit status but we are incorporated.  We will be collecting
for a yearly scholarship using the license plate donations as the primary source.   If we have any CPA
AGs, the club needs your help addressing a few issues, please email this address.

PROMOTE AGGIE BUSINESS
It was decided to setup a page on the club's website to promote Aggie owned businesses.  If you are a owner and would like to advertise, please email the club to follow up on how to do this.  This will also go towards the club's desire to a resource for new AGs to MD.  We will be working to establish a Welcome package with useful info and to get AGs involved in the club.

 

License Plates

The club has voted to use this as a fund raiser to eventually support an A&M scholarship, similar to other A&M clubs. The MVA fee for a license plate is $25 and the club is suggesting members make a $25 donation for the scholarship. The contribution to the scholarship fund is optional but highly encouraged. The club feels it is important to start this long term endeavor be able to give back to the community and school by supporting students from the Maryland area who wish to attend Texas A&M by offsetting the out of state tuition. Your support is greatly appreciated. You must have one application for each vehicle you wish to register. Currently plates are only available for cars and trucks. We must have a minimum of 25 requests for motorcycle plates before the MVA will issue them.
