Rex Foster '03

I am seeking full-time, contract, or temporary employment opportunities in Baltimore, MD and Washington DC (and will also consider positions in NYC, Atlanta GA, and Austin TX). I am available to begin working immediately.

I have a Ph.D. in the social sciences with a focus on behavior change, and I have 7 years of experience in organizational effectiveness / applied research consulting. In addition, I have a secret level security clearance.

My career goal is to help solve complex workplace and social problems through disciplined inquiry and research, and I hope to accomplish this in a role such as Applied Research Associate or Organizational Effectiveness Consultant. My first interest is in the non-profit/social or public/government sectors, followed by private sector.

- Experience in organization development, change management, business transformation, process improvement, strategy formulation and execution, training and development, communications, change impact analysis
- Research / analysis skills: gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to solve complex problems, write/publish technical and academic research reports/papers, design and administer surveys
- Ability to navigate complex organizational settings and manage multiple stakeholders
- Highly motivated and adaptable self starter, seeking learning opportunities and challenges
- Past engagements have ranged from improvement efforts with grassroots community organizations to large-scale interventions within Fortune 500 companies and federal agencies.
