General Scholarship Information:
Scholarships are awarded in late spring, and take effect the following fall semester.
Applicants must be permanent residents of Howard County, Texas.
Scholarship forms are available through this link.
Failure to obtain full time (12 hours per semester minimum) enrollment
will result in forfeiture of the scholarship.

Required Submittals:
The
student must either be currently enrolled full time at Texas A&M
University, or be planning to attend A&M the following full
semester.
All
applicants are required to completely fill out the Scholarship
Form. Falsification of information, or incomplete forms and
submittals may result in the applicant being dropped
from consideration.
Current students must also submit a copy of their transcript for the
previous fall semester, and a copy of their spring semester
mid-term grades.
High School seniors also must have been accepted to Texas A&M
University for the fall semester and must submit a copy of their
transcript and
either their ACT or SAT scores.
Scholarship Timeline:
April 1 - Deadline for Scholarship Applications for graduating seniors
June 1 - Deadline for enrolled college students
Student Club Participation:
Scholarship recipients are strongly encouraged to participate in the
Howard County A&M Scholarship Auction that will be held in July at the Big Spring Country Club. Recipients can
help with event advertising, donation requests, setup, invitations,
and/or thank you notes.
Recipients are expected to attend this auction if at all possible.
