Morris Mitchell is a long time supporter of our community and students at Texas A&M.  He has managed the Quail Valley Utility District for over 25 years.  He has participated in the selection of our club’s scholarship recipients for nearly 10 years and has helped guide this process and the direction our club has taken over the course of time. Mr. Mitchell regularly attends club functions.  Sources close to Mr. Mitchell tell us he recently became a first time Grandfather, and we are sure he will guide this future Aggie in the right direction as he has so many others.  We thank Mr. Mitchell for his ongoing service to our community and for his dedication to the Fort Bend County A&M Club.
 
 

HOWDY FORT BEND COUNTY AGGIES!!!

The Fort Bend County A&M Club is off and running in 2001. Last year we had a standing room only Muster with almost 100 more paople than preregistered.  Our annual golf tournament was once again a great success.  Attandance was up over 20% from 99. We also have one of the most active membership committees ever.  Where the fall had traditionally been quite in Fort Bend county last year we are planned local gatherings to watch football games as well as bus trips to College Station to cheer the Aggies to victory in person.

One thing was missing. THAT'S YOU! We want you to be a part of all the fun. For those of you not familiar with our club, what did you miss out on in 97, 98,99 & 00.

The primary purpose of the club has always been to bring Fort Bend County Aggie together, but we are very pround of the other things we do.  And on top of that list is Scholarships! We were able to give twelve $2,000 scholarships to well deserving future Aggies from Fort Bend County. Helping these students further their education at our great university always allows our club to feel a sense of accomplishment. We are doing a lot in Fort Bend County, but we want YOU to become an active member of our club. By joining, you will have the opportunity for fellowship with Aggies from all over the county and the opportunity to further the education of young Fort Bend County Aggies that will carry on the tradition we are so proud of.
