Scholarships to Attend Texas A&M
It is the goal of the Emerald Coast A&M Club for every deserving student from this area at Texas A&M to receive a merit scholarship of $1,000 or more, entitling them to receive in-state tuition. Every one of them gave up full or three-fourths full scholarships through the Florida Scholars programs to go to Texas A&M. The difference between in-state and out of state tuition is approximately $13,000 per school year for a student taking 14 hours each semester.

We will provide whatever help students need to find qualifying scholarships. Some of these scholarships may include:

Opportunity Awards. The Opportunity Award encompasses approximately 600 highly competitive scholarships. The Opportunity Award ranges in value from $500-$2500 per academic year for one to four years. The awards are for incoming Freshmen beginning Fall 2001. Application: http://faid.tamu.edu/OAIntro.cfm

Endowed Opportunity Award. 4 year undergraduates with financial need.

Departmental Scholarship. 1-4 year awards for students in a particular field of study.

Aggie Leader Scholarship. Award recognizing students in leadership activities.

General Rudder Corps Scholarships. 4 year awards of $2,500 per year for outstanding cadets.

Sul Ross Scholarships. 4 year $1,000 scholarships for qualifying cadets.

Foundation Excellence Award. 4 year scholarship for undergraduate minorities.

President's Endowed Scholarships. 4 year academic scholarships to top university scholars.
