As our guest speaker, we are privileged to have Lieutenant General John B. Sylvester , U.S. Army, Retired, Texas A&M Class of ‘67. Lieutenant General Sylvester’s military service includes unit leadership in Vietnam, four different Company level Commands, Battalion Command on the Inter-German border during the cold war, Brigade Command during Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm, three tours as a general officer in Bosnia culminating in US and NATO Command of over 35,000 troops from 37 nations, five tours in Germany and the Netherlands, and a wide variety of troop and staff assignments in the United States.
Lieutenant General Sylvester’s awards include four Defense Distinguished Service Medals; two Army Distinguished Service Medals, the Silver Star; three awards of the Legion of Merit; the Bronze Star Medal with “V” Device; the Bronze Star Medal; four awards of the Meritorious Service Medal; four awards of the Army Commendation Medal; the Army Achievement Medal; the Army Aviator Badge; the French National Order of Merit, Officer; and the Hungarian Distinguished Order of Merit, General Officer.
Lieutenant General Sylvester retired from the Army in 2004 and since that time has served as Senior Vice President/General Manager of Joint Venture Group, MPRI, a Government Contractor.
This will be a sit-down luncheon with the following menu served family style:

1st course - Calamari Fritte, Bruschetta, Maggiano’s Salad, Caesar Salad;

2nd course - Four Cheese Ravioli with Pesto and Alfredo Sauce, Baked Ziti and Sausage, Oven Roasted Pork Loin with Balsamic Cream Sauce, Chicken Francese;

3rd course - Apple Crostada, NY style cheesecake.

For children 5 to 12-same menu or Chicken fingers if desired.
