We will need volunteers for the Aggie Mom Boutique on Friday and Sat. and selling the raffle tickets for the Quilt on Friday and Sat. I would like to invite you to participate in the Clear Lake Aggie Mom’s 2nd Annual Aggie Student Scholarship Golf Tournament to be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Southwyck Golf Club in Pearland, TX. Come and enjoy our “Aggie Traditions” while playing golf to raise money for Aggie student scholarships. Our goal, of course, is to raise money for the students and in doing so to provide the participants with an enjoyable afternoon. If you’re just too busy to play in the event, you may want to consider sponsoring a hole—a great way to advertise your business. You can do both, of course. Your afternoon golf play will start off with registration at 12:30 followed with a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start. With a Scramble format, everyone is in the competition to win Awards. During the course of play you will get to “experience” some of the Aggie traditions. If you’re an Aggie, it will bring back some memories; if you’re not an Aggie, you’ll get to broaden your understanding of the unique A&M school spirit. At 6:30 p.m. there will be a dinner and awards presentation. All in all it is going to be a fun day. Your fun is extended even further by future golf play since Southwyck is providing each golfer in the tournament with one pass each to 4 different premier golf courses in the Houston area. We are excited about this event and hope you’ll commit soon by registering as we are limiting play to the first 60 players. We will need your commitment no later than April 17 so that we can get the food right. So, get a team together or sign up individually. Just don’t hesitate, fill out the attached form (or get one online) and send to the Clear Lake Aggie Mom Club along with your check.
