Our club provides a forum in which former students in the Chicagoland
area can become active members of the Aggie Network by assisting each other professionally and
participating in community affairs. Additionally, we work to provide scholarship funds for deserving
local students who are attending Texas A&M.
We also know how to have a good time, whether it's through watching football and basketball games,
attending happy hours, going on road trips or participating in local sports leagues.

Scholarships
As part of our successful fundraising efforts, we have
established the Chicagoland Texas A&M Club Scholarship for Illinois Residents. The University
serves as the administrator of our program to ensure uniformity and impartiality and maintain
consistency with the University's guidelines for the awarding of such scholarships.
This scholarship is for $750 per semester for the fall and spring semesters of the year in which
the scholarship is awarded. It is awarded based on need, with merit also being a significant factor.
We encourage any Illinois resident entering Texas A&M as a freshman to apply.
The application deadline for the 2009-2010 school year is February 1, 2009. All applications should
be submitted to the Texas A&M University Financial Aid Office.
