Information Sheet about Club Activities
• Howdy Tea: Set up, serve food, and welcome new Aggie freshmen and transfer students and their parents into the Aggie Family. • Aggie Mom Fish Camp, Winter in Aggieland, and Parents’ Weekend Booth: Volunteer to work a shift on Saturday at Aggie Mom Fish Camp or on Friday or Saturday at our booth during the Winter in Aggieland in December and Parents’ Weekend Mothers’ Club Boutique in April on the A&M Campus. • Telephone: Call members without emails to inform them of upcoming programs and events or of needs the club may have. • Goodie Bags: Help stuff Goodie Bags before finals (December & April) and/or deliver bags to our A&M students. Goodie Bags are available to purchase for your students and friends and given to let them know we are thinking of them during these tough times. • Program Planning: Whether you have special skills in Event Planning already, or you’d like to gain some experience, we want your help in planning the special events and fundraisers throughout the year. Let us know of your interest. • Singing Cadets Concert: Volunteer to promote sponsorship, sells tickets, and help the day of the concert which is usually held in January. • Quilt and Raffle: Come join us for quilt workshop nights in the fall. Needed: t-shirts, fabric cutters, ironing, and seamstresses. These are great nights to get to know other aggie moms. • Pictures with Reveille: This fundraising event is held at the MSC on a home football game day. This event is open to the public. Reveille poses with individuals or groups for a photo. Orders are taken for photo packages. Many volunteers are needed. This is a very fun and popular event. • Aggie Relay for Life: Participate in this event on TAMU campus in the spring. Raise money for the American Cancer Society or just come to walk. •
Programs: During the fall and spring semesters, the club
will have a program or event monthly. Attendance is encouraged so you
get to know Aggie Moms and their families in our club. IMPORTANT
